Youth Orchestra members tune up for Ha Noi show

HA NOI (VNS)— Vietnamese members of the Southeast Asian Youth Chamber Orchestra (SEAYCO) will gather to perform a concert this Sunday in Ha Noi.

Six young musicians playing the violin, cello, flute, oboe and English horn will perform works by Marcello, Vivaldi, Shchedrin, Lovland, Beethoven, J Brahms and Vietnamese composer Nguyen Thi Nhung.

Founded in August 2012, the 25-member SEAYCO consisting of young musicians from Thailand, Viet Nam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia, will debut in Viet Nam in October.

Free tickets for the concert that will take place at the Goethe Institute, 56 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, can be collected in advance at the same venue.-VNS
