Exhibition spotlights traditional Japanese dolls

HA NOI (VNS) — An exhibition of Japanese dolls will open at the Viet Nam Women's Museum at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Ha Noi, on Thursday.

Up to 200 dolls will be on display until March 31.

Japanese culture activities such as kimono and yukata trials, and origami workshop and Japanese toys trials will be presented on opening day.

Meanwhile, the Japan Foundation at 27 Quang Trung Street has 40 Japanese dolls on permanent display, including female dolls dressed in kimonos and dolls depicting characters from traditional Japanese performing arts. — VNS
