BA RIA-VUNG TAU (VNS)— An exhibition of 200 photographs and calligraphy works featuring Viet Nam and South Korea opened on Tuesday at the coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau's Cultural Centre.
It is one of many events being held to celebrate 20 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The exhibition highlights traditional culture as well as modern life in the two countries while introducing their long-standing relationship to younger generations through pictures illustrating renovation and socio-economic development.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Le Thanh Dung, vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee, emphasised the significance of this exhibition and the cultural week as part of the Viet Nam-South Korea Friendship Year 2012.
The exhibition will run until this Sunday. — VNS
