HCM City — Some of Viet Nam's well-known cartoonists are displaying their work at an exhibition in HCM City organised by the city's Fine Arts Association.
The exhibition includes 127 works by 29 artists from Ha Noi, HCM City and a number of provinces.
Most of the cartoons are about social problems, providing an insight into people through their characters and behaviours.
The cartoons have appeared in many Vietnamese publications, including Lao Dong (Labour), Phu Nu (Women) and Tuoi Tre Cuoi (Comic Youth).
Many of the works use vivid colours like pink and blue to feature urban lifestyles.-VNS
