QUANG BINH (VNS) — The Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is caring for six endangered animals seized from illegal traders in the central province of Quang Binh, its management board said.

The animals – three stump-tailed macaques, two Assam macaques and a reticulated python – are in bad health, having suffered various injuries.

All the rescued animals are listed as endangered species in the Viet Nam Red Book, which means they require strict protection. — VNS
