TAY NINH (VNS)— Authorities in southern Tay Ninh Province have closed five quarries in a bid to protect unexploited mineral resources and restore the area's natural landscape in the Ba Den Mountain region.
The total area of the five closed quarries is 16 hectares, according to officials.
Previously, five other quarries were closed in 2005. There is currently no company allowed to excavate rocks at Ba Den Mountain. — VNS
