Poachers nabbed in Yok Don National Park

DAK LAK (VNS)— The forest management board of the Yok Don National Park in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak on Wednesday destroyed nearly 20 kilograms of wild meat gathered from illegal hunting activity.

Last Monday evening, forest rangers patrolling the strictly protected zone of the park detected a car transporting wild animal meat.

The two men in the vehicle have been identified as Nguyen Tien Dung from Ea Sup District and Pham Minh Giang from Buon Ma Thuot City. They admitted using guns to hunt wild animals in the core area of the park. — VNS
