HÀ NỘI — A major trade fair combining machinery and technology for a wide variety of markets returns to Hà Nội later this year.
The International Trade Fair for Construction, Mining and Transport, Machinery, Equipment, Technology, Vehicles and Materials (Contech Việt Nam 2018) will begin in December, the event’s organiser — Hà Nội Advertising and International Fair JSC has announced.
It will be a good opportunity for businesses to advertise their machines and technology, seek new partners while fostering technical transfers, the event’s organiser said.
The three-day fair is expected to attract around 200 exhibitors from Germany, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and China. It will run from December 5-8 at the National Exhibition Construction Centre.
The previous edition lured 100 domestic and foreign businesses and more than 3,000 visitors.
Machinery, equipment and spare parts are among the country’s major export items over past seven months with a turnover of US$9 billion, up 27.1 per cent year-on-year, according to the General Statistics Office. — VNS
