HA NOI (VNS)— Vietnamese coffee accounted for a fourth of Singapore's total coffee import volume in 2014, reflecting its strong foothold in the regional market.

According to the Vietnamese Trade Counsellor in Singapore, Nguyen Viet Chi, annual export revenue for Vietnamese coffee and tea to Singapore grew at an average of 68 per cent per year from 2012 to 2014. In 2014 alone, the revenue touched US$102 million.

Singapore was also the gateway for several other potential markets for Viet Nam, she said.
