HCM City Expo heads off to Cambodia, Myanmar

HCM CITY (VNS)  — The HCM City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) will hold a trade, services and tourism expo (HCM City Expo 2015) in Cambodia and Myanmar.

The event aims to boost Viet Nam's exports to countries in the ASEAN block, said Pho Nam Phuong, ITPC's director.

The expos in Cambodia will be held from April 1-5 in Battambang.

The expo will feature 150 trade booths from about 90 enterprises. It aims to expand trade and help Vietnamese enterprises research the Cambodian market and seek investment opportunities in the northwest of the country.

The expo in Myanmar will be held in Yangon from May 20 -24. More than 100 booths will represent about 80 enterprises.

This is the fourth times ITPC has held a trade and investment promotion event in Myanmar.

The HCM City Expo in Cambodia and Myanmar will also contain trade and investment promotion programmes.. . — VNS
