THUA THIEN HUE (VNS)— Chan May seaport in the central Thua Thien-Hue province welcomed its first ocean liner of the year, carrying more than 2,500 foreign travellers, on Thursday.

The port is expected to receive 60,000 arrivals in 2015, facilitated by the recent upgradation of its services by the province.

According to the culture, sports and tourism ministry, the locality has seen more than 178,480 arrivals so far this year, including 70,218 foreign visitors, generating more than VND216.3 billion (US$10 million) in tourism revenue, a 11 per cent year-over-year increase.
