Intel's contributions to City development hailed

HCM CITY  (VNS) — Secretary of the HCM City Party Committee, Le Thanh Hai, has said that Intel Products Viet Nam Co Ltd's effective investment has greatly contributed to the city's socio-economic development, especially in training high-quality human resources.

Meeting with Intel Products Viet Nam General Manager Sherry Boger on Tuesday at the debut of the company's first central processing unit (CPU) product in Viet Nam, Hai spoke highly of Intel's efforts to overcome initial difficulties to realise cooperation commitments between the two sides.

He proposed that Intel raise its investment in the Sai Gon Hi-tech Park, focusing on the field of research and development.

For her part, Sherry Boger thanked the municipal authorities for creating favourable conditions for the company to turn out hi-tech products in Viet Nam. — VNS
