Thanh Hoa top choice for Japanese funds

THANH HOA (VNS)— Central Thanh Hoa Province leads the country in attracting Japanese investment, accounting for $9.68 billion out of the total of $33.06 billion.

Of the five largest Japanese businesses in Viet Nam, two are in this province, the Nghi Son Oil Refinery and Nghi Son Cement plant.

The local advantages, such as strategic location, inexpensive human resources, and abundant mineral resources are appreciated by Japanese investors. — VNS
