Japanese businesses foster investment in Da Nang

DA NANG (VNS)— Da Nang City has granted licences to five Japan-funded projects with capital totaling US$31.4 million so far this year, according to the municipal Trade and Investment Promotion Centre.

The latest additions have brought the number of Japanese projects in the city up to 90, capitalised at over $370 million. These projects specialise in a wide range of sectors including agriculture and seafood processing, paper pulp production, electronic components, technology and design.

The city is accelerating investment promotion activities in Japan in an attempt to attract more investors from the country. .— VNS
