HA NOI (VNS)— The country's leading internet security company BKAV said it had not recorded any internet service disruption in Viet Nam from the monumental DDoS (denial of service) attacks that had been hitting some parts of the globe.
Some local newspapers reported that internet users were suffering from bad access speeds caused by DDoS attacks launched by hackers. The attacks have blocked access to some websites. Experts predict that the situation will become more serious and that networks of banks and e-mail systems will be affected in the future. BKAV said that the subjects of the attacks included server service providers Spamhaus and CloudFlare.-VNS
