Amway announces new plant in Viet Nam

HA NOI (VNS)— The US-based Amway corporation will build its new plant in the My Phuoc Industrial Zone of Viet Nam's southern Binh Phuoc province this year.

The new plant will be Amway's second in the country after its first US$12 million factory was built at Amata Industrial Zone in southern Dong Nai province in 2007.

The US company's business in the Southeast Asian country has grown by 35 per cent annually in recent years.

Founded in 1959, Amway has grown into a multi-national corporation which earned a global revenue of $11.3 billion in 2012.-VNS
