HCM CITY (VNS)— US-based Starbucks Coffee, the world's largest chain of coffee shops, has arrived in Viet Nam in partnership with Coffee Concepts Viet Nam Limited.
Coffee Concepts, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Maxim's Group, managed 130 outlets in Hong Kong and mainland China.
Viet Nam is Starbucks's 12th market in the Asia Pacific region.
John Culver, president of Starbucks coffee China and Asia Pacific, said: "We see many business opportunities in Viet Nam for long-term development.
"In future we expect to open more stores in big urban areas, maybe the next destination will be Ha Noi."-VNS
