The Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union in co-operation with HCM City youth and student unions has organised training in gender equality for students from seven southern universities and colleges.

Part of a month-long project to raise young people’s awareness of gender equality, it will apprise participants about problems related to gender in Việt Nam, control of gender-based violence, and eradication of gender-based discrimination.

Similar classes will be held in Hà Nội and Đà Nẵng.
