HCM City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport has added 800 additional chairs to prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year which falls in February, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV).
The chair installation is part of an upgrade of the airport.
Another taxi stand as well as three more water dispensers have been set up. Wifi service has also been improved.

HCM City to reclaim land to build bridge
The People's Committee of District 1 in HCM City late last week said it would take back over 16,000sq.m of land in District 1 to build Thu Thiem 2 Bridge in accordance with Land Law 2013.
Compensation will be implemented following the law.
The land will be taken back in September 2016 and Dai Quang Minh Corporation will carry out the construction.

HCM City's People's Committee has given guidance to the city's Youth Union to carry out programmes supporting young local people to start up businesses. It has also helped set up 5,000 to 10,000 companies run by young people.

Da Nang welcomes 1.1 million foreigners
The central city of Da Nang in the first 11 months of this year welcomed 1.1 million international visitors, an increase of 30.4 per cent over the same period last year.
This is the first time that the volume of foreign visitors to the city has reached 1 million per year.
