The Ministry of Construction will inspect four property projects in Ha Noi for alleged violations based on complaints from local residents.
The investment projects are Yen Hoa- Thang Long apartment project of Thang Long Company Limited, Sky City of HANOTEX Company Limited, the head office of Ha Noi Consultancy and Construction Investment Company, and the LOD building of LOD Human Resource Development Corporation.

Doctors use 3D endoscopy surgery
Hue Central Hospital has succeeded in conducting the first surgery in Viet Nam to remove a cancerous stomach tumour using 3D endoscopy surgery on Tuesday in the central city of Hue. The surgery lasted one hour.
The 50-year-old patient is Bui Van S, from the central province of Quang Nam's Nui Thanh District, who was in the third stage of stomach cancer.
According to Pham Nhu Hiep, the doctor who carried out the surgery, 3D endoscopy shortens and increases the effectiveness of the surgery as it supplies higher quality images than the normal endoscopy technique.

Central provinces build nearly 500 bridges
Provinces in the Central Highlands have built 493 bridges with total investment capital of more than 1 trillion ($44.6 million) in ethnic minority areas since 2010, reports the Central Highlands' Standing Steering Committee. Of the number, 398 are hard bridges and 25 drawbridges.
The bridges meet demand of local residents, especially in the flood season.

Embankment built to protect Hoi An
Work has started on an embankment project worth VND135 billion to protect the ancient town of Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam.
The embankment stretching 780 metres from the Japanese Covered Bridge to Cam Nam Bridge is expected to be completed in November next year.
The investment cost is funded by the country's programme for climate change mitigation.
