The Government has unveiled a mechanism and policies to develop Da Lat City and its neighbouring areas in Lam Dong Province.
Under the policy, the province will get priority access to Government funding for investing in key sectors like high-tech agriculture and green urban areas.
Investors in Da Lat will get tariff exemption for five years while importing materials, equipment and technologies for high-tech agriculture.

Vingroup to build parking lot in HCM City
A plan to build an underground parking lot at Hoa Lu Stadium in District 1 has been submitted to the HCM City Department of Transport by the Vingroup Joint Stock Company.
The 10-storey lot, including five floors underground, will be built by a public-private-partnership on a build-own-operate mode.
It is expected to cost VND3.3 trillion (US$147 million) and be completed within 24 months.

Japanese firm studies using waste as fuel
Japan's Kawasaki Heavy Industries Co., Ltd is conducting studies for a pilot project to use solid waste as fuel in cement factories around the country, the Ministry of Construction said.
The project will cost 3.8 billion JPY (US$31.5 million), with Japan providing 2.6 billion JPY.
It will install equipment at cement factories to convert solid waste and sewage into gas.

City eyes investors for support industries
The HCM City People's Committee has unveiled plans to attract foreign investment in supporting industries in 2015-16.
The city will help 100 businesses involved in supporting industries in fields of engineering, electronics – information technology, food and fashion design upgrade their technologies and machinery.
It has instructed relevant agencies to seek investments from Japanese, South Korean, Thai, and Taiwanese businesses in export processing and industrial zones.
