Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh has assigned the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to preside over and work with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and other related units to manage prices of dairy products for children under six years old in accordance with Decree 177.
The MoF, together with MoIT, will clarify the responsibilities of each ministry in controlling and stabilising dairy prices. Based on these clarifications, the two ministries will then submit to the Government an amendment to Decree 177.

New cardiovascular centre opens in Dong Nai
The Thong Nhat Hospital in the southern province of Dong Nai late last week opened a new modern cardiovascular centre.
The aim of the project, which was built under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, is to provide a satellite hospital for Cho Ray Hospital in HCM City and support treatment for cardiovascular patients.
The centre was built at a cost of over VND66 billion (US$3.1 million).

Thua Thien-Hue plans aquaculture zone
The People's Committee of the central province of Thua Thien – Hue has decided to establish a protected area for Ganh Lang aquaculture in Phu Loc District's Loc Binh Commune.
The area, which will be 22ha in size, aims to widen a system of similar areas in order to protect aquaculture sources in the Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon.
The Loc Binh 1 Fishermen's Union will be responsible for preventing activities that harm aquaculture resources in the Ganh Lang area.
