The ratio of students getting health insurance topped 83 per cent last year, numbering more than 11.3 million, according to the Viet Nam Social Insurance Department.
Poor provinces like Ca Mau, Dong Thap, and Tra Vinh had the lowest rates. Students from poor and near-poor households and military families receive 30 per cent subsidies from the Government.

An Giang's exports this month are estimated at more than US$87.8 million, an increase of 10.8 per cent from last month, according to the Mekong Delta province's Department of Industry and Trade.
The province's exports this year have topped $675 million, or 67.5 per cent of the year's target.

Government eyes dairy development
The total number of dairy cows in the country is around 200,000, an increase of 14,000 from last year. Their milk output meets 30 per cent of the country's demand.
In recent years, the Government has provided dairy farmers financial and technical support to develop the sector.
