The HCM City Department of Health said it would set up four teams to monitor and control measles, dengue, and hand-foot-and-mouth, each led by the director or deputy directors.
In the next one month it would provide chloramine to kindergartens and schools for cleaning their classrooms and organise programmes to educate the public about the diseases.

Ministry calls for price controls, monitoring
The Ministry of Industry and Trade last Friday called on provinces and cities to keep a check on prices of some products that increased in April due to higher transport costs and epidemics.
The cost of transport, children's formula, medicines, cement, steel, animal feed, and oil must be controlled, it said.

Binh Dinh projects put on investment agenda
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given Binh Dinh Province the green light to include four of its projects in the list of national projects seeking foreign investment by 2020.
They are a part of National Highway 19, the Binh Dinh Power Centre, the Cat Nhon solid waste treatment plant, and the Binh Dinh Paediatric and Obstetric Hospital. The four require total investment of US$4.2 billion.
