An international trade fair as part of the 2014 Hue Festival is expected to attract nearly 600 booths of local and international exhibitors.
To be organised at the Thua Thien-Hue Sport Competition Centre from April 12-18, the fair aims to promote trade and investment opportunities for Vietnamese firms both in domestic and international markets, especially with counterparts along the East-West economic corridor as well as in South East Asia.
Held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the provincial People's Committee, the event is part of the national trade promotion programme.

Japan, S Korea subsidise Viet Nam adverts
Vietnamese travel companies have received financial support from Japan and Korea, to subsidise the cost of advertising holidays there.
According to representatives of the Korean Tourism Organisation and Japan National Tourism Organisation in Viet Nam, the support, which will be implemented from now until the end of March, aims at attracting more travelers from Viet Nam.

Dong Nai IPs get wastewater treatment help
Dong Nai Province will work to enable all operating industrial parks in the province to have concentrated waste water treatment system, said Le Viet Hung, director of the provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
In addition, automatic environmental monitoring stations will be installed at industrial parks that have an occupation rate of more than 50 per cent, he said.
As of today, the province has put into operation 28 out of 31 industrial parks. Of which, 21 had installed concentrated waste water treatment systems.
