Saigon Co-op opened its first mall, Sense City, in Can Tho City in the Mekong Delta on Monday.
Sense City, which spreads over more than 22,000sq.m, sells fashion items, cosmetics, jewellery, and home appliances and has entertainment facilities.
Last week Saigon Co-op also opened a new Co-opMart supermarket in HCM City's District 12, its 69th outlet in the country.

HCM City needs 20,000 workers in February
HCM City will need 20,000 workers next month, 35 per cent of them for manual labour, according to the Centre for Human Resources Forecast and Labour Market Information.
They are needed in the garment, textile, food processing, and construction sectors.
Demand for skilled workers is expected to increase this year.

Ministry okays $1.4m for trade promotion
Minister of Trade and Industry Vu Huy Hoang has approved the phase one of the 2014 national trade promotion programme, which features 117 promotions at a cost of VND30.03 billion (US$1.4 million).
The programme seeks to expand trade promotion overseas and potential export markets and reduce the trade deficit.
Activities to develop domestic markets, chiefly in rural, mountainous, and border areas, will also be part of the programme.
