Da Nang offers incentives to hi-tech investors

The Chairman of the Da Nang's People's Committee, Van Huu Chien, has signed a policy to support investors for the city's High-tech Park.

The city will exempt land lease fees for investors building rental accommodations. Those investing in production projects will receive land rental exemptions of between three to 11 years.

HCM City workplace accidents kill 76

Seventy-six people have died and 13 others injured in 74 labour accidents in HCM City since the beginning of this year. Falling from high places and electrocution are said to be the major causes, but investigators have only been able to arrive at conclusions in 25 of the 74 accidents.

The Ministry of Transportation has set up a hotline to receive information from the public on the quality of relevant infrastructure constructions.

Capital collects feedback on Tu Liem division

The capital city of Ha Noi is seeking residents' opinions on a plan to divide the outskirts district of Tu Liem into two districts with 23 wards. Once finalised, the plan will be sent to the city People's Council. If the city legislature approves the plan, it will be submitted to the Government later this month.
