The draft of the Real Estate Trading law, which concerns property trading floors, is now open for public comment. If the draft is approved, apartments in commercial projects must be traded on a real estate trading floor to ensure transparency and benefits of both sides. In HCM City, around 300 trading floors have registered to operate, and many of them are struggling.

City trains 7,000 workers for free
More than 7,000 workers from key industries this year have attended short- and long-term training courses offered by the HCM City Labour Union.
Around 1,800 workers have received free training and many of them have held higher positions after training.

Education dept provides swimming lessons
Secondary high school students in HCM City will receive swimming training for free through a three-year project launched by the city's Department of Education and Training in co-operation with the Sports Federation this month.
Under the project, 60 per cent of students will study swimming at school. The city has 1.5 million secondary school students, and only 10 per cent of them can swim.

An Giang to improve project bidding process
The southern province of An Giang's Department of Health is working with local hospitals to improve their bidding project management aiming to control the prices of drugs and other medical supplies.
The province's demand for treatment and healthcare services is expected to total VND1 trillion (US$50 million) per year, Vuong Binh Thanh, deputy director of the department, said.
