Northern Thai Binh Province on Tuesday put into operation a new psychiatric hospital in Thai Binh city's Tran Lam Ward.
Having 120-150 beds, the VND123 billion (US$5.8 million) hospital is expected to offer improved medical examination and treatment and community healthcare.

Quang Ninh approves housing support
Northeastern Quang Ninh Province has approved a housing support programme for families that have contributed to the national revolution.
The programmes are estimated to cost nearly VND155 billion (US$7.3 million). Some 5,099 households will benefit from the programme.
The support rate will be VND40 million for households that need to build a new house, and VND20 million to each family for housing repair.

Long An gets 50 new companies in August
About 570 businesses with a total registered capital of VND6.29 trillion (US$297.68 million) were set up in the first eight months of the year in southern Long An Province.
In August, 50 businesses with total registered capital of VND300 billion ($14.18 million) were established.
As of today, the province has 5,485 operating enterprises with total registered capital of VND88.75 trillion.
