The Vietnamese Government has allowed the HCM City Notary Association to join the International Union of Notaries on behalf of local notary associations, according to Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Duc Chinh.

Denmark kicks off Talent Prize 2013
The Cultural Development and Exchange Fund under the Embassy of Denmark has launched the Talent Prize 2013.
The theme is Architectural Ideas for Improving Urban Spaces. The winner will be given a week-long trip to Denmark.
Those eligible are Vietnamese architectural students, architects, construction engineers and urban planners aged 35 and younger.

City allocates $70m for bus subsidy
The HCM City administration will provide VND1.47 trillion (US$70.3 million) to the public bus service this year, about VND65 billion ($3.1 million) higher than last year, according to the city's Public Transport Operation and Management Centre.

Powdered milk businesses to be inspected
The Food Safety Department under the Health Ministry yesterday began inspection of powdered-milk businesses operating in HCM City. The inspection teams will focus on the quality of powdered milk for children. Violations will be published in the media.
