A Museum of Science and Technology will be built in Dong Nai Province, the Ministry of Science and Technology has announced.
It will collect and preserve objects and data relating to scientific and technical history and development of Viet Nam and the world and carry out research and public programmes such as science competitions.
It will have seven sections: scientific history, basic science and environment, natural science, future science, science and life, Viet Nam science, and Dong Nai science.

Phnom Penh to host Viet Nam trade fair
A Viet Nam-Cambodia Trade and Services Fair will be held at the Mondial Centre in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh from April 3 to 7. The annual event, called the HCM City Expo, seeks to enhance trade and services while fostering solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
It will feature 250 booths displaying high-quality Vietnamese products, including agricultural products, processed foods, interior decoration items, garments, footwear, cosmetics, electronic devices, and plastic products.
A number of trade and tourism promotions, cultural exchanges, and seminars will also take place.

City to build classical music, ballet theatre
The HCM City People's Committee has approved a plan to build the Symphony, Opera and Ballet Theatre in 23 thang 9 (September 23) Park in District 1.
The theatre will have two projection rooms and can seat 1,700 people.
Designed by a German architecture company, it will be opened by the end of 2015.

Ministry told to stockpile bird-flu vaccines
The Government has ordered the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to buy 40 million doses of bird-flu vaccines to keep in stock for emergencies in case of outbreaks.
Pham Van Dong, head of the Veterinary Department, said there were already around 60 million doses available for supplying provinces and cities in case of outbreaks.
