Authorities in Gia Lai have issued new policies aiming to attract young and talented people in different areas to live and work in the Central Highlands province, particularly in remote areas.
More than 150 university graduates in education, health and agriculture will be selected and supported to work in the province's poorest districts like La Pa and Krong Pa from now to 2014.

Young volunteers join climate campaign
More than 10,000 young volunteers are participating in a programme aimed at drawing attention to the impacts of global warming and the urgent need for action to mitigate them. The programme was launched by US-based 350.org, an international organisation working to fight activities that trigger global warming.
The volunteers are working to promote energy savings in daily life at individual, household and community levels.
