Dr Truong Nguyen Thoai Nhan, Chief of the International clinic said the clinic worked with the central city of Da Nang in boosting quality of healthcare service for locals, foreigners living in Viet Nam and tourists coming to Da Nang.
“Diseases have increasingly become more complicated recently, requiring medical service providers have a high quality of medical examination and treatment in meeting the demand of tourists and locals in Da Nang and the central and Central Highlands region. This is why we invested in the hospital with more updated technology and high-quality human resources, experts to provide the best service at international standard or Joint Commission International (JCI),” Nhan said, adding that patients could feel they stay at a ‘hotel hospital’ with the best accommodation and nursing.
“We promise to do our best in offering international standard medical service and treatment in the city for the next five years. The hospital acknowledges its social responsibilities with service, and we keep an eye on positive developments the hospital has achieved in the first six years,” he said.
Nhan said the hospital offers comprehensive healthcare services including the most complicated surgeries and medical treatments for locals and tourists as well as the foreign community living in Viet Nam.
Da Nang, in central Viet Nam and at the end of the East-West Economic Corridor linking Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Viet Nam, is a popular destination among domestic and foreign tourists. The city hosted 5.5 million tourists, of which 1.67 million were foreigners, in 2016.
In the first half of 2017, more than 3.2 million tourists, including 1.23 million foreigners, visited the city.
Promoting good quality medical service and the healthcare centre in the city aims to meet the demands of increasing numbers of tourists. The establishment of the International Clinic-Hoan My Da Nang Hospital has contributed to the sustainable socio-economic development of Da Nang city and the rapid development of tourism with a ‘green growth’ target.

Medical service for tourists
Nguyen Dinh Dung, Dealer of Star-Cruise ship shares: “The International Clinic of Hoan My Da Nang Hospital is always my first choice to propose to my customers needing medical support. Visitors come to the hospital for regular heath check-ups or treatment whenever they travel to Da Nang. The hospital always provides the most modern equipment and top service with good English-speaking doctors and nurses. Doctors and medical staff can speak English well, so they don’t need me to interpret for customers at the hospital,” Dung said.
Over the past six years, the hospital has invested much in manpower training, English education, equipment and facilities in providing a high-quality healthcare that satisfies foreigners and locals.
“Doctors at the hospital always offer patients good manners and professional treatment with high responsibility and innovation. It’s our key to success in building the first international quality hospital in central Viet Nam,” Dr. Nhan emphasised.

Health Insurance increase

The hospital also offers an easy way for patients to accept some kinds of insurance in helping patients reduce cost of medical examination and treatment, especially hi-tech medical services.
The hospital’s International Insurance Department, guaranteed out-patient rate was 41 per cent and in-patient was 77 per cent between January and July of 2017.
