HCM CITY — Urban development and business space solutions provider Ascendas-Singbridge Group and its joint venture partner Saigon Bund Capital Partners have started working on office tower 2 in their OneHub Saigon at the Saigon Hi-Tech Park.
It will have a gross floor area of 20,333sq.m, 10 floors and two basements. Developed together with several international designers and built by Coteccons, the tower will be LEED Silver-certified and is expected to be finished in the second quarter of 2020.
The developers have begun to lease space in it. Along with tower 1 that was successfully handed over to its first tenants last month, it targets companies from the information technology, business process outsourcing, finance, and back office outsourcing sectors.
Tan Yew Chin, CEO for Singapore and South East Asia, Ascendas-Singbridge Group, said: “We have seen strong demand in the office market, and observed the decentralisation trend in areas where infrastructure is well developed. The robust demand is evident from the positive take-up rate of tower 1. We are confident that tower 2 will be another testimony to our commitment to provide international quality business space solutions that are customisable to corporates’ needs.”
The 12-hectare OneHub Saigon will have seven office towers, a mixed-use commercial block, work-offices home-offices, an education centre, and amusement amenities. — VNS
