David Beckham to be at VinFast unveiling in Paris: sources

Global superstar David Beckham will appear with Miss Vietnam 2018 Trần Tiểu Vy at the Paris Motor Show to unveil Việt Nam’s first auto brand, according to several sources.

HÀ NỘI — Global superstar David Beckham will appear with Miss Vietnam 2018 Trần Tiểu Vy at the Paris Motor Show to unveil Việt Nam’s first auto brand, according to several sources.

Beckham is rumoured to be the special guest at the historic launch of VinFast in front of the international press, but the company has not confirmed.

Since the announcement of his retirement from football in 2013, the former Manchester United and England captain has been a frequent guest at many world class events. Brand Beckham is still one of the most attractive names for style and grace, as well as a model British father.

Given the requirements needed to attract an A-list star like Beckham, his attendance is likely to attract global attention at the Paris Motor Show 2018 and mark an historic milestone for the car manufacturing industry in Vietnam.

VinFast will officially launch two sedans and SUVs at the Paris Motor Show 2018 at 15:25 Vietnamese time today. The programme will be broadcast live on VTV1 and livestreamed directly on the website and fanpage of VinFast, along with global communications channels. — VNS
