National flag carrier retains 4-star status

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has been certified as a 4-star airline by the international air transport rating organisation Skytrax for the third consecutive year.

HÀ NỘI — National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has been certified as a 4-star airline by the international air transport rating organisation Skytrax for the third consecutive year.
Vietnam Airlines was ranked alongside some of the world’s most reputable airlines, including Air France, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Korean Air and British Airways.
Vietnam Airlines has been making concerted efforts to improve service quality this year.
The airline is operating 90 routes to 20 domestic destinations and 29 international destinations with a total of over 400 daily flights.
In 2017, Vietnam Airlines recorded impressive sales of VNĐ88.4 trillion (US$3.84 billion) and carried 26.5 million passengers. Its on-time performance index (OTP) reached over 90 per cent. — VNS
