HCM CITY – Vietjet will give away two million promotional tickets, priced from zero đồng onwards, between Wednesday and Friday as part of its promotional event called “Free up your summer with Vietjet”.
The tickets, which will be available from noon to 2pm on the official website, www.vietjetair.com, are applicable to all domestic and international flights for travel between August 20 and December 31 this year.
“Summer is the season of joy, excitement and adventure. It is also the perfect time to ‘fly’ with a youthful spirit, leaving behind all worries,” Vietjet said in its statement.
Earlier last week, Vietjet said its pre-tax profit recorded a yearly increase of 254 per cent to VNĐ1.48 trillion (US$65 million) in the first quarter of 2018.
During the period, the company’s revenue stood at VNĐ12.56 trillion, up by 146 per cent year-on-year, fuelled by the growth in passenger air transport, ancillary and sale as well as leaseback revenue.
Thanks to fleet expansion along with the opening of new international routes, Vietjet’s air transport revenue reached over VNĐ6 trillion in three-month period, an increase of 52 per cent year-on-year and 10 per cent higher than the company’s target. — VNS
