Microsoft on Friday announced the appointment of Phạm Thế Trường as its new country general manager for Việt Nam.

HCM CITY — Microsoft on Friday announced the appointment of Phạm Thế Trường as its new country general manager for Việt Nam.

He brings over 20 years of IT business experience and industry knowledge to drive the company’s mission in Việt Nam, the company said in a release.

Trường joins Microsoft from SAP Vietnam, where he served as country managing director since 2012. Earlier, he had been the country sales director for Oracle.

At Microsoft, he will be responsible for the company’s products, services and support offerings in Việt Nam.

He has a master’s degree in business management and information systems. — VNS
