HÀ NỘI — Generali Vietnam Life Insurance (Generali Vietnam) has opened its new GenTower office as the main branch office in the north.

The new office is located at 14 Lê Đại Hành, Hai Bà Trưng District, Hà Nội.

“Generali Vietnam has been continuously making enhancements to the business, and has opened 45 offices with an Italian style, luxury atmosphere, which helps bring a unique experience and professional service to customers, agents and our staff,” CEO of Generali Vietnam, Tina Nguyễn, said.

“The opening of the GenTower office, the main branch office of Generali Vietnam in the centre of Hà Nội, is a remarkable milestone in the development of Generali in the Việt Nam market,” added Nguyễn.

Having entered Việt Nam in 2011, Generali has expanded its network to 50 offices, including branch and general agency office, GenCasa, in many provinces nationwide. The office network of Generali Vietnam has helped distribute its insurance products and services to more and more Vietnamese citizens, and has made Generali a company with the highest growing rate in the Việt Nam life insurance market.

On this occasion, Generali announced its plans to continue to sponsor VNĐ1 billion (US$44,445) for the “Generali – Your Companion to School” programme, a joint-initiative with the National Fund of Vietnamese Children, to provide 1,000 scholarships to underprivileged students throughout the country in 2018.

After six years of operations in Việt Nam, Generali Vietnam currently has approximately 160,000 clients, including individuals and insured members of domestic and foreign businesses in Việt Nam. The company  recently increased its chartered capital to VNĐ2.852 trillion ($126.75 million) and is now among the companies with the highest chartered capital in the life insurance market. — VNS
