Starting November 24, Vietjet will begin operations on a new international route connecting HCM City with Phnom Penh (Cambodia), airline officials said on Monday.

HCM CITY  Starting November 24, Vietjet will begin operations on a new international route connecting HCM City with Phnom Penh (Cambodia), airline officials said on Monday.

Tickets, available from Monday, are priced from VNĐ199,000 (US$8.73). 

The new route is expected to foster trade and meet travel demands between the two financial hubs of Việt Nam and Cambodia, Vietjet officials said in a statement.

Round-trip flights along the HCM City-Phnom Penh route will be operational on a daily basis with a one-way flying time of 45 minutes. The flight will depart from HCM City at 5.35pm and arrive in Phnom Penh at 6.20pm (local time). The return flight will take off in Phnom Penh at 7.30pm (local time) and arrive in HCM City at 8.15pm. — VNS
