Microsoft Việt Nam has officially announced it was appointing Aung San Maung from Myanmar as its new acting CEO in Việt Nam, a position which was held by Vũ Minh Trí for seven years.

HÀ NỘI — Microsoft Việt Nam has officially announced it was appointing Aung San Maung from Myanmar as its new acting CEO in Việt Nam, a position which was held by Vũ Minh Trí for seven years.

Maung would continue to implement strategies and business activities as well as development initiatives of Microsoft in Việt Nam.

Aung San Maung has been with Microsoft Việt Nam since early 2013 as head of its Enterprise and Partner Group. He studied computer science in Canberra and has more than 30 years of experience working at global technology corporations, including IBM. He has been successful in building excellent human resources, developing strategies and always having outstanding achievements.

Microsoft entered the Vietnamese market in 1996. Under Trí’s management, the company has strongly supported for the Government, businesses and individuals, especially building and enhancing local partner system for an advanced information and technology, thus contributing to socio-economic development. — VNS
