HÀ NỘI — National carrier Vietnam Airlines will move its operation from terminals T2 to T3 at Jakarta Airport, Indonesia, July 12 onwards.

The new terminal, which is about 2km away from the old terminal, has an annual capacity of 25 million passengers. It is equipped with modern and synchronous facilities, contributing towards enhancing the carrier’s service quality, in keeping with its four-star level.

Members of the global Skyteam Alliance, such as Korean Air, KLM, China Airlines and Garuda Indonesia, all have planned to move their operation to the T3, so that it will be easy for passengers to connect with flights that are part of the alliance.

The T3 has three check-in areas with 26 counters each. Passengers of Vietnam Airlines will undergo procedures at the C section that covers four counters C5, C6, C7 and C8.

A separate room for business-class passengers is located in the entresol between the second and the third floors in the T3. — VNS
