DONG NAI – Approximately 11 tonnes of fish died from unknown causes within two days on a stretch of La Nga River in southern Dong Nai Province.
The fish, including carp, hemibagrus and red tilapia were raised in cages on the river.
The provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Department took samples of the river water for tests on Thursday.
Initial damaged is estimated to be hundreds of millions of dong. – VNS
