Plastic surgery is no longer a big issue nowadays when conceptions of beauty are varied and people are more open to modification.

Plastic surgery is no longer a big deal these days when people’s conceptions of beauty are varied and more open to modification.

But it’s definitely not a pleasant experience when you risk missing an international flight because your new nose makes you look like a completely different person.

A woman in Hà Nội last week almost missed a flight to South Korea because her nose job made her look much younger than how she looked in her passport photo.

She was kept at the airport for an extra 20 minutes and asked to write a statement to prove she was the same girl in the photo before she was allowed to board the plane.

She had the nose job three months ago and did not think of applying for a new passport, the woman told an online newspaper.

Although she did get to board the flight in the end, the experience was uncomfortable enough.

“I will get a new passport when I get back from the trip,” she said.
