When Butch Harmon got him, he did a good job. Perhaps, a bit too good. Tiger became enamored with technical details and tweaking the swing to the point where it became more mechanical. Yet, Butch did great things with Tiger.
Just got back from a weekend at The Bluffs GC in HoTram, where we were shooting a golf video for a local TV station. It's not as much fun as you think. There is a lot of sitting around waiting for cameras to be positioned, microphones checked and all the rest of it. Then you do the shot again and again. It's not often that a golf course can officially open and instantly become the number one course in the country, but The Bluffs at the Grand Ho Tram Strip did just that, and considering the heavyweight competition of Danang GC, Montgomerie Links and Laguna Lang Co, that says a lot about the project.
October is a month associated with Halloween, ie, ghosts, goblins and other assorted things that go bump in the night. As you might expect, this month has been a bit of a horror show for me, simply due to all the traveling.
