Thien, Nam to play in South Korea

Two of Viet Nam's top junior tennis players will compete in the Seogwipo Asia/Oceania Closed International Junior Tennis Championships next month.

Nguyen Hoang Thien and Ly Hoang Nam will be hoping to make an impression at the tournament, which will run from November 6-11 in Jeju, South Korea.

Thien is 135th in the world youth rankings and will be seeded 10th in the competition, while Nam, who is 295th, is ranked 27th seed.

The favourite to claim the trophy is the host's Hyeon Chung, who is 20th in the world youth rankings.-VNS
