Viet Nam gold rush at taekwondo champs

Viet Nam sealed three golds and one silver in the performance events at the 21st World Military Taekwondo Championship, which started on Sunday in HCM City.

Meanwhile, China brought home two gold medals in the combat events.

Around 200 military athletes from 30 countries are competing for 22 sets of medals.

This is the first time Viet Nam has hosted such a week-long tournament and is the largest of its kind to be organised by the International Military Sports Council.-VNS
