Students set for basketball cup

The qualifying rounds of the Ha Noi Primary Schools Basketball Tournament, Milo Cup 2012, will take place today and tomorrow.

The tournament involves 35 boys' and 30 girls' teams from 37 primary schools in Ha Noi.

The best 10 teams of each gender will compete in the final round at Wellspring International School on October 27-28.

The two-day event aims to bolster sports activities in schools.

The tournament is held by the Viet Nam Basketball Federation and Nhi Dong (Children) newspaper, and sponsored by MILO Viet Nam, which is owned by Nestle. — VNS
