VN player joins Thai futsal club

Goalkeeper Dang Phuoc Anh from Thai Son Nam became the first Vietnamese futsal footballer to play in an international league by signing a one-year contract to play for GH Bank RBAC Futsal Club of Thailand.

The team won the 2011 Thai Futsal League and represented Thailand at the Asian Football Confederation's Futsal Club Championships in Kuwait in July.

At present, Anh is in training with his new team-mates in Thailand. He will return to Viet Nam next month to take part in a tournament from October 25-27 for four strong teams: Viet Nam, Italy, Uzbekistan and Kuwait.-VNS
