Thai Son Nam win futsal tourney

The Thai Son Nam club won the 2012 HCM City Futsal (indoor football) Championships despite losing their last match in the competition on Wednesday.

The club ended the tournament with 15 points from five wins and two losses to remain ahead in the eight-team competition, which was played on a round-robin format.

FC Dong Dong was second with 14 points and the third place went to Tan Hiep Hung, who had the same 14 points but an inferior goal difference.

Thai Son Nam's Le Quoc Nam was named the tournament's best player while Nguyen Truong Son was the best scorer with eight goals. — VNS
